The 2007 Keuka College Softball team was a record-setting program and was the first Keuka College Softball team to qualify for the NCAA Tournament. The Green and Gold set a then school-record with 25 wins in a season, topping the previous record by six wins. Keuka went 15-3 in North Eastern Athletic Conference play, posting a 25-6 record overall. Keuka earned the second seed in the NEAC Tournament. They defeated the hosts, Baptist Bible College, twice and top-seeded Polytechnic on their way to the conference championship. Keuka College earned the fifth seed in the seven-team Cortland, N.Y. Regional in the NCAA Division III Softball Tournament. Keuka dropped the first game to Plattsburgh State, but rallied to defeat Elms College 3-0 in 10 innings to earn the first NCAA victory in school history. The Green and Gold would then fall to top-seeded University of Rochester to end their postseason run. The 2007 season was just the second for Head Coach Jamie Burke. The NCAA run started a string of six straight appearances for the Green and Gold. The team included Cheryl Austin, Bethany Bridenbaugh, Kasie Davis, Chelsey Hopkins, Lindsay Humberstone, Katie-Mae Laing, Nicole Lesniak, Amanda McConnell, Amanda Piatek, Stacy Schreiner, Jen Shaughnessy, Katie Sykes, Jessica VanScoter, Marianne Wallace, Sarah Wehnau, Amanda Witter, and Elyse Zobel. The team was coached by Jamie Burke assisted by Jim Burke, Marshall Harris, and Shannon Fleishman with athletic trainer Jeff Bray.
