AT KEUKA COLLEGE

Welcome to Keuka College, where academic excellence and athletic achievement converge to create a truly exceptional college experience. Our sports program embodies our commitment to developing well-rounded student-athletes who excel not only on the field, but in all aspects of their lives.

At the heart of our approach is the innovative Performance 360 Program, designed to enhance our athletes' strength and conditioning, empower them with essential leadership and success skills, and prioritize their personal and mental health. Through this comprehensive program, we provide our student-athletes with the tools they need to thrive both athletically and personally, setting them up for lifelong success.

Continued Improvement
in All That You Do

Performance360 at Keuka College is a holistic program aimed at developing the complete student-athlete. It encompasses personal and mental well-being, strength and conditioning, and leadership and success. The program prioritizes mental resilience, physical fitness, and leadership skills to ensure athletes excel both on and off the field. By addressing these essential components, Performance 360 nurtures well-rounded student-athletes ready for success in sports and future endeavors.

STRENGTH &
CONDITIONING

"Our goal is to take the guesswork out for our student-athletes on what they need to do in the weight room to reach their full potential in their respective sport. Not only will our program help with their time at Keuka College, but it’ll also lead to lifelong knowledge that can be used years beyond their time as a student."

LEADERSHIP &
SUCCESS

Leadership, success, and student development programs and services are led by Rachel Fiser, Leadership Programming Coordinator & Head Women's Volleyball Coach.

Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)

Join SAAC to enhance the total student-athlete experience by promoting academic excellence, sportsmanship, and service within the community. Students involved in the Committee develop strong leadership skills and are expected to voice their ideas to athletic administration - helping to shape the continuous improvement to the student-athlete experience.

Academic Support

We are dedicated in maximizing the academic potential of our student-athletes, offering close, personalized experiences and support. One of our biggest differentiators is our Field Period® program, where students are coached and supported on getting real, hands-on experience. Support services at Keuka College are intended to help student-athletes reach their goals and enhance their academic performance through existing campus resources. The Assistant Director of Athletics works closely with the coaching staff to monitor academic progress and communicate regularly with all members of the student’s success network. We support students through a variety of services, including peer tutoring, writing instruction, accessibility support services, team study hall, and coordinated care.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Foster a positive student-athlete image
  • Share ideas and suggestions in order to enhance Keuka College athletics
  • Increase campus and community awareness of all athletic teams
  • Generate a student-athlete voice within the Keuka College community
  • Advocate student-athlete involvement in the community

Community Service

Service isn't something we do—it's who we are.

For more than 130 years, Keuka College has fostered a sense of community and a vision for a life committed to academic excellence, professional achievement, and service to humanity. If you love helping others and ultimately want to leave the world a better place than you found it, you'll thrive at Keuka College.

In 2015, the Department of Athletics received national recognition for service by the National Association of Division III Athletic Administrators (NADIIIAA). The same organization recognized the department in 2023 and again in 2024.

Faculty Athletic Rep (FAR)

Lisa Hochadel, Assistant Professor of Accounting, serves as the Wolves FAR. She acts as a bridge between student-athletes and faculty. If academic issues ever arise - such as class conflicts, academic performance, or communication between faculty, staff, and the student-athlete, the FAR serves as an additional support.

PERSONAL &
MENTAL WELLBEING

We recognize that mental health struggles are a growing concern. Supporting student mental health and personal wellness is a top priority at Keuka College. We strive to provide services and education to student-athletes and support them during difficult times. We teach them how to balance school, life, and sport.

In addition to Keuka College’s Health & Counseling Center, we also support student-athletes with one-on-one and small group sessions with our Mental Health and Wellness Coordinator.

To showcase our commitment to supporting students, all of our coaches are certified in Mental Health First Aid. Please refer to the resources below for more information.
