Monday-Friday: 3 - 5pm
Saturday-Sunday: Noon - 3pm
We operate our waterfront property from the early Spring to the early Fall each year. Kayaks, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards are available to students, faculty, and staff for an excursion on the lake. Also available are a variety of lawn games, including cornhole, Kan-Jam, spikeball, and ladder golf. Our swim area is available to all visitors during posted times.
- Fishing is permitted off Keuka College docks during daylight hours with a valid fishing license.
- Keuka College Community (students and employees) may utilize boating free of charge during operating hours when staffing permits.
- Non-College Community members may rent canoes, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards 48 hours in advance ($15/boat rental) via Campus Recreation at recreation@keuka.edu.
- Personal Flotation Devices (PFD's) are available and required at all times. Watercraft must stay in eyesight of Keuka College docks at all times.
Our swim area rules are governed by New York State and include:
- NEVER SWIM ALONE. A minimum of two adults, 18 years of age or older, must be present whenever the swimming facility is in use.
- THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR ADEQUATE SUPERVISION. Children less than 18 years of age must always be accompanied by an adult responsible for their safety and behavior while at the College’s waterfront.
- Only use this facility during posted hours of operation and swim only in the designated swimming area.
- Don’t swim under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Shallow water - No Diving.
- IN AN EMERGENCY, NOTIFY ON-SITE STAFF AND CONTACT HELP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. An emergency phone Is available at the base of the main staircase.
