Shelly Baker Named Head Cheerleading Coach

KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Department of Athletics has announced that Shelly Baker has been named the new Head Cheerleading Coach for the Wolves.

Baker has been involved with cheerleading for more than 30 years as an athlete, judge, program director, and coach.

"As I begin this new chapter with Keuka College," said Baker, "my mission is simple: build a strong, safe, and spirited program where student-athletes grow not just as cheerleaders, but as leaders."

She was most recently the head coach at Wayne High School in Ontario, N.Y., transforming the Eagles into one of the top programs in the Finger Lakes region.

Coach Baker is still rounding out the squad for the 2025-26 year. Anyone interested in joining the Wolves should reach out to her at sbaker1@keuka.edu or complete a cheerleading recruiting form on KeukaAthletics.com/recruit.
