Six Wolves Earn At-Large Academic All-District

KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — Keuka College Athletics had six women named At-Large Academic All-District by College Sports Communicators.

The honors included members of the Field Hockey, Women's Lacrosse, and Women's Golf teams.

Jordan Nichols, Tori Nelson, and Brianna Broadwell were honored from the Field Hockey team. Nelson was also a member of the Women's Lacrosse team, as was Brooke Bonetti and Katie Deatherage. Kendall Shepherd was honored from the Women's Golf team after winning the Northeast Women's Golf Conference's Elite Academic Award.

Jordan Nichols earned her third selection as Academic All-District. The senior goal lied the Wolves in 2024, starting 14 games and posting a team-best 4.87 goals-against average and .742 save percentage. She ranked second in the Empire 8 in saves per game and set a new program record 504 saves in her career.

Tori Nelson earned her second Academic All-District honor. She started all 16 games in field hockey for Keuka and made 13 starts while playing in 14 games for the Wolves in women's lacrosse. Her 51 career points rank amongst the all-time leaders at Keuka College in field hockey. She added 10 goals and seven assists on the lacrosse team in the spring.

Briana Broadwell started all 16 games for the Field Hockey team in the midfield. She scored a goal for the Wolves in an Empire 8 victory over Elmira. The sophomore is a Criminology/Criminal Justice major and earned Empire 8 President's List in the fall semester.

Brooke Bonetti led the Wolves in scoring for women's lacrosse this season while excelling in the classroom. The senior netted 42 goals on the season and ranked third in the conference averaging 3.00 goals per game. Bonetti earned Third Team All-Empire 8 honors for the second season in a row. A Community Health and Wellness major, Bonetti adds the Academic All-District honor to her numerous selections to the Empire 8 President's List over her career.

Katie Deatherage adds the At-Large Academic All-District honor to her three that she earned on the hardwood as a member of the Women's Basketball team. This past spring, Deatherage earned her second all-conference selection for her play on the lacrosse field. The senior set new career highs in goals, assists, points, caused turnovers and draw controls in her final season at Keuka.

Kendall Shepherd rounded out the at-large selections for Academic All-District, coming from the Women's Golf team. She was one of the team leaders for the Wolves and posted a perfect grade point average over her career at Keuka College while majoring in accounting. Her academic achievements were honored at the Northeast Women's Golf Conference Championship in April with the Elite Academic Award for the highest cumulative grade point average competing at the championship.

The At-Large category of the Academic All-District program encompasses all NCAA teams that do not have individual sport selections by College Sports Communicators. To be eligible for Academic-All District, the student-athlete must have at least a sophomore standing and carry a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 while playing in at least 90% of the team's games.
