The Hawks opened with the first three points of the game, but Keuka College scored 11 straight to take the lead. A three by Lillian Mullen capped the run to give the Wolves the advantage midway through the first. The Wolves led by as many as 12 in the opening frame. The first ended with Keuka doubling up Hilbert 18-9.

Brooke Burd opened the scoring in the second for the Wolves and it was quickly followed by a pair of baskets by Mary Cotter. An old-fashioned three-point play by Emilee Bacon closed the 9-0 start for the Green and Gold. The Wolves extended their lead to 20 in the quarter. Hilbert got a few back and hit a three in the final seconds, but Keuka took a 36-20 lead into the halftime break.

It was an evenly played third quarter as the Wolves and Hawks both scored 17 in the frame. The 16-point advantage carried into the final quarter for the Wolves.

Seven unanswered by the Hawks early in the fourth cut the Keuka lead down to 10 points at 56-46. Lillian Mullen snapped the run and followed with a three to push the lead back out to 15. The Green and Gold would push their lead out to 18 from the free throw line, but the three by Mullen would prove to be the final field goal for the Wolves. The Hawks scored 11 straight over the final minutes to cut the lead down to seven with 30 seconds remaining. Hilbert opted to try to get the steal and play defense. Mary Cotter was fouled with five seconds remaining. She made one free throw to secure the game with Keuka defeating Hilbert 65-57.
