ALFRED, N.Y. — The Keuka College women's basketball team traveled to Alfred State on Tuesday and fell 63–51.
Brooke Burd extended her double-double streak, finishing with 15 points and 15 rebounds for the Wolves.

Neither team started strong, combining for five missed field goals before
Brooke Burd scored the first basket nearly two minutes in. Alfred State responded with a 7–0 run to take control early.
Lillian Mullen answered with five straight points to tie the game at 7–7, but the Pioneers regained momentum and closed the quarter on an 11–2 run, capped by a buzzer-beater, to take an 18–9 lead into the break.
The Pioneers kept their momentum to start the second quarter, opening with an 11-point run. Alfred State stretched the lead to 37–16, but the Wolves answered with an eight-point run of their own to cut the margin to 15 heading into halftime down 37-22. The story of the opening half was Alfred State's dominance on the glass, as Keuka College was outrebounded 30–14.
The Wolves opened the second half on a 10–2 run, fueled by four points from
Janea Hamilton-Brown, cutting the deficit to seven. However, the Pioneers responded again, closing the third quarter with an 11–2 run to regain control.
The Wolves continued to battle in the fourth quarter, opening with an 8–2 run sparked by 3-pointers from Mullen and Hamilton-Brown. However, the Pioneers answered with a few timely baskets to keep the game just out of reach and maintain control down the stretch.

- The Wolves are now 10-5 all-time against Alfred State
- It marked the fourth straight double-double and fifth of the season for Brooke Burd. The junior now has 10 double-doubles in 32 career games for the Green and Gold, ranking fourth in program history.
- Burd leads the Empire 8 this season in double-doubles with five and rebounds with 79 total and 13.2 per game
- First year Emilee Bacon recorded a career high two steals and three blocks for the Wolves
