Manchester jumped on the board first as they came around to score three runs in the first inning. The Spartans would continue to score runs in the third inning to add another three to their score to jump ahead 6-0.
Starting pitcher Emily VanDelinder would start to take control as she wouldn't let Manchester score in the fourth, fifth, or sixth inning. In the top of the seventh inning, the Spartans added two insurance runs to go up 8-0. The last at bats for the Wolves wouldn't be enough as the Spartans took the victory 8-0.

- Keuka College and Manchester University is the 89th different opponent in Keuka's 38 years of softball.
- This was also the first-ever meeting between Keuka and Manchester.
- The Keuka Softball team turned three double plays in the loss which is tied for first in Keuka Colleges record book. The last time this was done was in 2007 against Baptist Bible.
