Keuka College 4 vs. Nazareth College 2 – Game 1

The Golden Flyers took a 2-0 lead in the second inning, but the Wolves quickly responded. Emily VanDelinder led the inning off with a single and moved to third on a Jordan Cole double. VanDelinder scored on a Kelsey Mohl sacrifice fly and Cole came home on a Hayley Gorges groundout as the Wolves tied the game at 2-2.

The Wolves threatened in the bottom of the fourth, loading the bases with two outs, but a popout to the second baseman ended the inning and kept it tied going to the fifth inning.

The tie game remained until the bottom of the seventh. Danielle Bosch and Helena Hill both singled to start the inning off. They were bunted over by Abby Eising. Abby Kruse then blasted a double deep to left to score Bosch and Hill and give the Wolves the 4-2 walkoff victory.

Lead Wolf: Kruse had a big day at the plate for the Wolves. The freshman had a pair of hits on the day, including the game-winning, two-run double.
