Box Score KEUKA PARK, N.Y. –Keuka College Field Hockey team lost at home to St. John Fisher 4-0 on Wednesday afternoon.
Megan Makowski (Webster, N.Y. / Webster Thomas) had 9 saves for the Green and Gold and Jillian McGinley (Syracuse, N.Y / East Syracuse-Minoa) had a defensive save for the Wolves.
St. John Fisher 4 vs. Keuka College 0
The first period would be controlled by St. John Fisher at 7 minutes the Cardinals would get on the board to take the lead 1-0. Alyssa Muszak (Centereach, N.Y. / Newfield) had an opportunity to tie the game with two minutes left in the period but the shot was blocked.
The Wolves would keep the pressure at the start of the period McKenzie Hoyt (Afton, N.Y. / Afton) ran the ball down, passed the ball at the top of the circle to Muszak but the shot went wide. The Cardinals would add another to the board and the Wolves would go into the half trailing 2-0.
10 minutes into the third period St. John Fisher added another goal to extend their lead 3-0.
The Cardinals would add one more in the fourth period but the Wolves weren't done yet as they would keep the pressure on and try to shorten the lead by getting four corners in the fourth period but the Cardinals defense cleared the ball each time taking the victory 4-0.

- Keuka College is now 0-4 all-time with St. John Fisher the last time these two schools met was in 2017.
