After standout performances last week, field hockey's Tori Nelson and men's soccer's Liam Davis have been named Wolves of the Week.
Tori Nelson – Field Hockey
Nelson made her mark in Friday's match up at SUNY Morrisville by assisting on a second-quarter goal from Emma Mantione and later scoring her first goal of the season on a penalty stroke. The senior midfielder finished with three points in the 5-4 overtime contest, leading the Wolves' attack.
Through five games this fall, Nelson leads Keuka in assists (2) and points (4). The senior also moved up the career charts, now ranking sixth all-time in goals and fourth all-time in assists with 55 career points.
Liam Davis – Men's Soccer
Davis, a senior midfielder, scored his second goal of the season this past week. On Wednesday, he converted a penalty in the 29th minute at Hilbert College for Keuka's lone tally of the match.
Davis now leads the Wolves with two of the team's three goals this season.
