The Highlanders scored the first 12 points of the game on Friday. A layup by Emiley Anderson at 3:53 was the first points of the game for the Wolves. However, the Wolves held Houghton off the board for nearly the rest of the quarter as the Wolves pulled back into the game. Keuka scored six from the free throw line as they closed the first on a 10-2 run. Houghton led 14-10 after the first.

The Wolves traded baskets in the second quarter with the Highlanders. Lillian Mullen made a nice play midway through the frame as she stole the ball on the wing, managed to stay in bounds, and drove down for the layup. Houghton opened up a six-point lead late in the half and looked for separation going into halftime. However, Mary Cotter scored the final four points of the half as the Highlander lead was two, 28-26 at the break.

Keuka College came out fast as the Wolves opened the second with eight unanswered. A pair of threes by Mary Cotter sandwiched a layup by Lillian Mullen as the Wolves took a 34-28 lead. Houghton responded, however, with 10 unanswered of their own to regain the lead. The Wolves had a couple of free throws in the rest of the quarter, but Houghton had a 22-2 run over five minutes to take control of the game. Janea Hamilton-Brown pulled up and sank a jumper at the horn, but Houghton took a 50-38 lead into the final quarter.

The Wolves scored the first four of the fourth quarter, but Houghton slowly started to create separation in the frame. The Highlanders outscored the Wolves 15-9 in the fourth to defeat Keuka College 65-47.
