CANTON, N.Y. — Keuka College women's volleyball lost 3-0 to St. Lawrence University on day one of the North Country Classic.
 
 First year Pheobe Swartz led the Green and Gold with 12 digs and 12 assists on the night.

The wolves (1-3) went on a seven-point run to take the lead early in the first set. But they couldn't hold on as the Saints (3-1) went on a six-point run of their own to ultimately win the set 25-23. In the second set, St. Lawrence led almost the whole way and won 25-9 to go up 2-0 in the match. In a back and forth third set, the Wolves just came up short and lost 25-23 to make it a 3-0 sweep for the Saints.
 
Up Next for Keuka College: The Wolves will head to Potsdam, N.Y. tomorrow September 5 to face Clarkson University and Plattsburgh State for day two of the North Country Classic.
