UTICA, N.Y. — The Keuka College women's volleyball team wrapped up their season on the road this past weekend, falling to Utica University on Friday before competing in the SUNY Poly Tri-Match on Saturday, where they dropped both contests.

Gabby Rodriguez posted a career-best 31 digs on Halloween versus Utica.

Utica University 3 vs. Keuka College 0 – 25-19, 25-7, 26-24
In the first set, the Pioneers got off to a hot start with a 5-0 run to open the match. The Wolves tried to respond with a 3-0 run of their own, but their efforts weren't enough as Utica countered with another four-point swing. The Pioneers never trailed in the opening set.
Utica carried its momentum into the second, holding Keuka to just seven points and putting together an eight-point run, their largest of the match.
Early in the third, the Pioneers continued their strong play, jumping out to a 4-1 lead. However, the Wolves fought back and tied the set at 14. Keuka took its first lead of the match following a kill by Alessandra Castañeda. From there, the set went back and forth with six ties, but Utica pulled away late to complete the sweep.

SUNY Poly 3 vs. Keuka College 0 – 25-18, 29-27, 25-22
SUNY Poly opened the match on an 8-2 run, but the Wolves quickly responded with a six-point surge off the serve of Nina Scott to tie it at eight apiece. The Wildcats regained control soon after and never relinquished the lead, taking the first set and a 1-0 advantage in the match.
In the second set, Keuka jumped out to a 14-6 lead behind multiple scoring runs, including three early kills from Scott. However, SUNY Poly stormed back with a 15-4 run to erase the deficit and take the lead. The Wolves battled to force extra points but ultimately fell short.
In the third, Keuka rallied from an early deficit as a pair of kills from Alessandra Castañeda helped tie the set at eight. The Wolves went on an 8-3 run to take a 19-15 lead, but the Wildcats responded once again, closing the set on a 9-0 run to go ahead 24-19. Keuka fought off three match points with a brief 3-0 run, but SUNY Poly sealed the sweep with a final kill.

St. Lawrence 3 vs. Keuka College 0 -- 25-11, 25-19, 25-18
The Saints controlled the opening set from start to finish, holding the Wolves to just 11 points. Keuka struggled to find momentum, unable to string together more than two points in a row. St. Lawrence closed the set on a five-point run to take a 1-0 lead.
In the second, the Saints opened with a dominant nine-point run to jump out to a 9-2 advantage. The Wolves made several small rallies throughout the set, but couldn't close the gap as St. Lawrence pulled away to extend its lead.
Much like the second, the Wolves trailed for most of the third set. Keuka's largest run of the frame was three points before the Saints closed out the match with a 5-2 run to secure the sweep.
