The Saints built most of the pressure in the opening quarter, but the Keuka College defense held. Despite the shots being 6-1 in the first, Keuka College's one was the best scoring opportunity of the first half. Alexis Dodge intercepted a pass between the Saints defenders. She passed it up to Kirstin Billings who went in one-on-one with the goalie. Billings went left to get around the keeper, but her shot slid just wide of the left post.

Play continued in favor of St. Lawrence in the second quarter. The Saints outshot the Wolves 7-0 in the frame with Nichols being called upon for five saves. The game was scoreless at the half.

The visitors came out of halftime firing. They scored 28 seconds into the second half and then added their second 39 seconds later. St. Lawrence put out a game-high nine shots in the third. Nichols recorded five saves, but the Saints scored four to carry a lead into the fourth quarter.

Keuka College increased the pressure in the fourth quarter. The Wolves had seven corner opportunities, but only managed three shots in the quarter. St. Lawrence added a pair of late goals to defeat the Wolves 6-0.

KC Notes:
  • The Wolves are now 0-2 all-time against St. Lawrence
  • Keuka College had a 9-2 advantage in corners, a season-high, but St. Lawrence had the 26-5 edge in shots
