The Gators controlled the game from the start, going up 5-0 after two innings. In the top of the third, the Wolves found themselves with baserunners after Haley Mascho (Bolivar, N.Y. / Bolivar-Richburg) drew a walk and Olivia Flynn (Williamson, N.Y. / Williamson) singled. However, the baserunners were left on first and second to end the inning.

Russell Sage continued to add to their lead and scored their final run with a walk-off single in the bottom of the fifth inning to win 8-0. Two Wolves posted hits for Keuka in game one, Olivia Flynn had two singles and Emily VanDelinder (Corning, N.Y. / Corning) added a single as well.

After a scoreless first inning, the Wolves found their offensive stride. In the top of the second, Grace Eagen (Buffalo, N.Y. / West Seneca West) and Emily VanDelinder started Keuka out with a pair of singles and then each advanced on a wild pitch. Hali Jenner (Waverly, N.Y. Waverly) then worked the plate to draw a walk and load the bases. With a bases-loaded opportunity, Payge Granger (Camden N.Y. / Camden) doubled, bringing in two runs for the Wolves and putting runners on second and third. Emily Cutrona (Buffalo, N.Y. / West Seneca West) was the next Wolf to put the ball in play with a single bringing in Jenner for an RBI, Cutrona then stole second. Olivia Flynn grounded out to the shortstop, but Granger was able to make it home for another RBI. Lastly, Hailey Jasinski (Buffalo, N.Y. / North Collins) singled which scored an additional run for the Wolves. After the big inning, Keuka had a 5-0 lead.

In the top of the third, Grace Eagen got the inning started again with a single. VanDelinder then hit the ball to the outfield and reached first on an error, also advancing Eagen to second. Both runners advanced on a wild pitch, exactly like the previous inning. This brought Hali Jenner to the plate, and she is a sacrifice fly to left field, bringing Eagen home to give the Wolves a 6-0 lead.

The Gators earned three runs back, but the gap was too large to close. The Wolves went on to get their first conference win of the season, 6-3.
