BROCKPORT, N.Y. — Keuka College's Field Hockey team lost 4-0 to SUNY Brockport in an Empire 8 matchup on Wednesday night.
Jordan Nichols (Deposit, N.Y. / Afton) recorded a career-high 25 saves in goal for the Wolves. The 25 saves also tied second best in program history.
Tori Nelson (Vernon Center, N.Y. / Vernon-Verona-Sherrill) had a defensive save in the game as well. The 26 combined team saves is the third most in the all-time record books.
SUNY Brockport 4 vs. Keuka College 0
After a scoreless first quarter, Brockport broke the deadlock with a goal after 13 minutes in the second. The Wolves, despite their efforts, couldn't find a way past Brockport's defense, which limited Keuka to just two shots on goal throughout the contest.
Brockport added two more goals in the third quarter, capitalizing on their dominant possession. They capped off their win with a final goal in the fourth quarter to beat Keuka 4-0.
Up Next for Keuka College: The Green and Gold will continue with conference play in a road game at Utica University with the game set for a 1 p.m. start on Saturday afternoon. Keuka looks to settle the score after falling to the Pioneers 1-0 last season.
