KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Women's Volleyball powered their way to a three-set sweep of SUNY Poly in women's volleyball in a non-conference match at the JMW Recreation and Athletics Center on Tuesday night.
Keuka College (10-3, 0-0 Empire 8) was led offensively by
Nina Scott with seven kills.
Camey Knapp and
London Ross each added five in the win.
Emma Sipos posted 12 digs and seven aces for the Wolves.
Keuka College 3 vs. SUNY Poly 0 – 25-7, 25-14, 25-12
The Wolves set the tone early. Keuka College started with the serve and scored the first 11 points of the match.
Dayna Edholm was at the line and delivered three aces in the run. Later on, an ace by
Jessica Throop pushed the Keuka lead to 20-3. The Wolves took the opener 25-7.
SUNY Poly started with the serve, but Keuka got the opening point. Then
Emma Sipos delivered three straight aces to push the early Keuka advantage. The Wildcats put it back to a four-point set at 13-9, but Keuka scored six of the next seven to widen the margin.
Camey Knapp and
Ava Hubbard each delivered kills to end the second set at 25-14, giving the Wolves a 2-0 lead in the match.
The Wildcats took their first set lead in the third winning the opening two points, but Keuka College quickly regained the advantage. The Wolves slowly grew their lead throughout the set. Keuka College closed it out with five straight points to win the third 25-12 and sweep the match.

- Keuka College improves to 20-13 overall against SUNY Poly, winning their third straight match
- Overall, it was Keuka's sixth straight win, both overall and on their home court. It tied for the second-longest home winning streak in program history and seventh seventh-longest overall
- The Wolves had all 18 players see time during the match
- In total, Keuka had 17 aces, the most in a three-set match this season
Up Next for Keuka College: The Green and Gold will open Empire 8 Conference play this weekend on the road. Keuka College will start the trip on Friday night playing at Hartwick College. The Wolves will then go to Russell Sage College to square off with the Gators on Saturday.
