KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Volleyball team won their match 3-1 against the SUNY Cobleskill Fighting Tigers on Saturday afternoon at the JMW Recreation and Athletics Center.
Megan McCann led the team with 12 kills.
Dayna Edholm, playing her first match of the season registered 10 kills and 3 serving aces.
Casey Hunziker also recorded 3 serving aces along with 35 assists.
Keuka College 3 vs SUNY Cobleskill 1
The Keuka College Wolves got out to a quick lead in the first set of Saturday's matchup against the Fighting Tigers.
Casey Hunziker was able to provide four nice serves in a row putting them up 8-2. However, Cobleskill was quick to bring the game right back to 8-7. From there play was even until the Fighting Tigers took a 25-24 lead at the end and ultimately took the set 26-24.
The Wolves came out stronger in the second set where they held the lead for a majority, but Cobleskill fought back from a 15-9 deficit and later a 22-15 deficit to keep the game close.
Megan McCann ended the game with a win for Keuka College with a strong kill.
With the sets tied 1-1 going into the third, the Wolves were able to carry forward their momentum to get out to another lead early on. Throughout this set, Cobleskill continued to battle and keep the score close, but ultimately the Wolves prevailed and took the third set as well.
The fourth and final set showed the Wolves at their best. With multiple strong kills from both
Dayna Edholm,
Megan McCann, and
Ava Hubbard and a fantastic defensive effort from
Emma Sipos and
Casey Hunziker, the Wolves were able to put the win away with a final score of 25-12.

- The Wolves are 20-1 all-time against SUNY Cobleskill and 5-0 at home
- With her 7th kill out of 10 today, Dayna Edholm reached her 100th career kill
- Megan McCann surpassed her 200th career kill in today's match.
