GENESEO, N.Y. — The Keuka College Field Hockey team lost on Wednesday afternoon at SUNY Geneseo 5-0 in a non-conference game.

Keuka College (2-9) got 10 saves from Kassidy Valentine. Fellow senior Aphiwe Joyisa played the fourth quarter for the Wolves and made a pair of saves.

The Knights got on the board five minutes into the game as they had multiple attempts on goal in the opening minutes. Keuka College had a chance to counter minutes later with a penalty corner. Nicole Wilson had her attempt saved in what would prove to be Keuka's lone shot of the game. SUNY Geneseo outshot Keuka 14-1 in the first quarter. The Knights added a goal and led 2-0 after one quarter.

Valentine held the Knights at bay in the second. The senior made four saves in the frame and kept the 2-0 score line into the halftime break.

SUNY Geneseo continued to attack the Keuka College goal in the second half. The Knights scored a pair of goals in the third quarter and added their final tally in the fourth quarter as the Knights defeated the Wolves 5-0 on Wednesday.

• Keuka College is now 0-5 all-time against SUNY Geneseo. The Knights are one of four non-conference teams that the Wolves have faced in every year of the program
• Adele Fairbrother and Michaela Marrero each recorded a defensive save. The duo each have seven in their career and are tied with each other for third all-time
• SUNY Geneseo ended with a 34-1 lead in shots and 19-1 advantage in corners
