Junior Liz Warren (Elmira Heights, N.Y./Thomas A. Edison) tossed a one-hitter in game one, and sophomore Brianna Bush (Penn Yan, N.Y./Penn Yan) tossed a two-hitter in game two as the Keuka College softball team swept Penn College of Technology Monday afternoon in the Wolfpack's home opener.

Keuka (4-4, 4-2 NEAC) won the first game 10-0 in six innings as freshman Katelyn Warren (Elmira Heights, N.Y./Thomas A. Edison) was 2-for-4 with a three-run home run and four RBI.

In the nightcap, juniors Mackenzie Cole (Ogdensburg, N.Y./Ogdensburg Free Academy) and Alyssa Prince (Holley, N.Y./Elba) drove in a run, as did sophomore Tally McDonald (Romulus, N.Y./Romulus) as the Green and Gold won 3-0.

Sophomore Samantha Blum (Niskayuna, N.Y./Colonie) was 2-for-3 with two RBI, and junior Ally Muller (Bath, N.Y./Haverling) was 3-for-4 with an RBI and three runs scored in the opener.

Freshman Mickenzie Palmer (Horseheads, N.Y./Horseheads) went 2-for-2 with an RBI, and Cole added an RBI double as the Wolfpack won in six innings after the mercy rule.

Muller and Palmer each had RBI singles during a two-run first, and Katelyn Warren extended the lead to 3-0 with an RBI single up the middle in the third.

Liz Warren retired the first 10 batters she faced before giving up a walk and a single in the top of the fourth. But with runners at second and third with one out, Warren used a groundout and a lineout to end the inning and keep Penn College scoreless.

The Green and Gold broke through for four runs in the bottom of the inning. Junior Jessica Parmiter (Cortland, N.Y./Homer) led off with a single, and classmate Nicole Wright (Seneca Castle, N.Y./Midlakes) walked before Cole delivered an RBI double to center field.

Blum followed with a two-run single to left center field, and the lead swelled to 7-0 on a fielding error.

Liz Warren retired the side in order in the fifth and sixth, and Katelyn Warren ended the opener with a three-run home run over the left field fence.

Liz Warren improved to 3-1 after striking out four with two walks over the complete-game win.

In game two, Bush struck out three and did not issue a walk in the complete-game win, the first of her collegiate career.

Penn College (7-13, 5-5 NEAC) had runners at second and third with two outs in the second, but Bush got Samantha Hill to pop out to McDonald to end the threat.

Bush retired the Wildcats in order in the third and fourth innings before Keuka struck for two runs in the bottom of the fourth.

Parmiter hit a one-out single, and Prince, a pinch-hitter, delivered with a RBI double to left center field for a 1-0 lead. McDonald followed with an RBI single up the middle to push the lead to 2-0.

Cole's fielder's choice in the sixth extended the lead to 3-0, and Bush held Penn College without a hit in the seventh to complete the sweep.

The Green and Gold travel to Morrisville State Wednesday for a NEAC doubleheader before playing at D'Youville College Thursday afternoon in a non-conference doubleheader.
